From 'Taare Zameen Par' to 'Secret Superstar' - Aamir Khan Productions completes a full cycle.

From a 9-year-old dyslexic kid Ishaan's journey to create a masterpiece on a canvas defeating all his physical difficulties.. to a 14-year-old dreamer Insia who challenges all social obstacles and stereotypes to achieve her dream of becoming a singer, the Aamir Khan Productions has truly completed a full cycle in celebrating childhood.

The promos of AKP's upcoming Diwali release 'Secret Superstar' is undoubtedly giving us some serious TZP vibes.

Dreaming is Basic

Be it Ishaan or Insia, dreaming is basic for every children. Dreaming is what makes them believe in achieving.

Ishaan's obsession with his out-of-the-box dreams made him see the world through his own different eyes, that no one else could.

Insia's dream to become a singer against her father's ideology,  made her hide her own identity to pursue the dream.

No matter how hard the challenges they faced, they never compromised with their dreams, that's what made them conquer all odds.

Celebrating Motherhood

From Taare Zameen Par's soul-touching 'Meri Maa' to Secret Superstar's 'Meri Pyaari Ammi'.. the tribute to Motherhood is vibrant in both the films. The depiction of the softness and tenderness that every Mother possesses for her kids, is picturised beautifully.

Be it the ever-caring mother of Ishaan who could not accept sending her child to a boarding school far away from her love and warmth,

or be it Insia's mother who dedicates herself to see her daughter fulfilling her dream, going against the ideology of her conservative husband, the never-ending saga of a mother-child bond on the silver screen lives on holding the hands of AK Productions.

The Friend, Philosopher and Guide

The one man who has taken the backseat and let the young talent steal the show, Aamir Khan comes to us as the friend, philosopher and guide to both Ishaan and Insia. From the art teacher Ram Shankar Nikumbh in 'Taare Zameen Par' to playing a hipster music composer Shakti Kumar in 'Secret Superstar', Khan gives the films a much needed uplift.

Aamir as art teacher Nikumbh plays a very soft spoken character who has dedicated all his life for the differently abled kids, meets a dyslexic Ishaan and leads him towards the mainstream.

But however in 'Secret Superstar' we are going to see a complete different avatar of Aamir Khan as he describes his character as "Daal me Tadka", where he plays a music composer with an unorthodox hairdo and colourful clothes and occasionally flirts with receptionists, but at the same time inspiring a budding talent to become a secret superstar. 

"Tum jaise talented bachche hote hai na.. woh sode me inn bubbles ke tarah hote hai.. woh aise hi upar aate hain.. aapne aap. unhe koi nahi rok sakta"
