Aamir Khan lights up the 'Vadodara Navratri Festival'

Aamir Khan attended Gujarat's one of the biggest garba festivals, 'Vadodara Navratri Nights' at Navlakhi ground in Vadodara on Sunday. It was his first ever garba celebration in Vadodara.

Here is a heart-felt tweet by Aamir after he was amazed by the crowd gathered to take part in the event.


Not only did he take part in the Garba, he also did the traditional 'anjali' of Ambe maa!

Apart from celebrating the occasion of  Navratri, Aamir also took his time to promote his upcoming film 'Secret Supertar' by launching the face of the film's third 'secret' superstar, Tirth Sharma. Tirth portrays the role of Insia's (Zaira Wasim) friend in the film whom Aamir describes as a great find with a very bright future. Also, the story of the film is set in Vadodara, being the main reason Aamir & co decided to kickstart the promotions from this city itself.


With all the celebrations and promotions, Aamir recalled some nostalgic memories of Gujarat and tried speaking to the crowd in Gujarati. Going down the memory lane, he revisited the time when he auditioned for a Gujarati play when he was a teenager and sang a song from that play which he still remembers. Watch the video :


After a hectic Sunday night at the Garba Festival, Aamir showed up at Vadodara's Eva mall today in the morning to promote 'Secret Superstar' where he was warmly greeted by the fans.
