Secret Superstar has completed it's first week's run at the box office very smoothly, showing very little drop in collections throughout the week days. After collecting approximately Rs 31.31 crores in it's extended opening weekend, the film has gone on to add another Rs. 10 crores over the next four days, averaging about Rs. 2.50 crores per day. So, the total collection of Secret Superstar in it's opening week stands at a total of Rs. 41.59 crores apprx.
With great word of mouth, Secret Superstar is likely to keep it's hold on the multiplexes in metro cities in the next week too as no big film is releasing this Friday. Meanwhile a success party was organised last night in Mumbai to celebrate the grand and overwhelming reception that Secret Superstar has got from every section of its audience. However the box office collections looked a bit on the lower side considering how people have loved the film. Speaking about this under-performing box office numbers, Aamir Khan said,
"Every film has it's own capacity and Secret Superstar has done fairly well in it's range. It has almost doubled it's budget cost within a week and according to industry norms it can be called a Super Hit."
