Historic 1st week for 'Secret Superstar' in China

'Secret Superstar' has remained in its record breaking streak in China as its first week collections closes in on the  ₹ 300-crore-mark which is almost   ₹ 100 crores more than that of the previous highest, 'Dangal'. With the weekend coming up, the collections of 'Secret Superstar' is going to further boost and can end up beyond  ₹ 400 crores post-Sunday. Aamir Khan receives the grandest welcome in China, once again.

For the 2nd time in last 9 months, Aamir Khan visits the land of red dragon, China to interact with his fans after his film 'Secret Superstar' got released in the country this past Jan 19 to a blistering response from the countrymen, collecting Rs 200-crores at the Chinese Box Office in just 4 days. The immense fan-following that Aamir Khan has in China showed no signs of slowing down as huge crowd turned up to welcome Aamir as he landed in Shanghai last night. A special road show was organised by the Chinese Fan Club of Aamir Khan. 'Secret Superstar' in China storms past India's Lifetime in just 2 days

The record-making spree of 'Secret Superstar' continues in China as the film takes only two days to go miles ahead of it's domestic lifetime gross of  ₹ 83 crores. The two day total collection of 'Secret Superstar' stands at  ₹ 110.52 crores. The film has created history by entering into the prestigious ₹ 100-crore-club in China in just two days. 'Secret Superstar' Triples Dangal's opening day figures in China

The inevitable has happened with the much anticipated China release of Aamir Khan's 'Secret Superstar' starring Zaira Wasim. The hype surrounding the film in China was getting bigger and bigger as the release date (19th Jan) was approaching. The pre-release reviews and ratings of 'Secret Superstar' was clearly an over-the-top one with a whooping 9.5/10 rating on Chinese ticket sales website 'Maoyan'. Now, all the hype has finally paid off in terms of the box office business as the film shatters all previous opening records of Indian films (of course Aamir Khan films) in China.
