Just a few days left for the release of much awaited musical drama 'Secret Superstar' and Aamir Khan has pressed the accelerator button promoting the film, leaving no stones unturned. On that purpose, he was in New Delhi yesterday to give interviews to different media groups and that's how a few unknown things about the film surfaced.
In this film. Aamir plays a very obnoxious character of music composer Shakti Kumaarr who doesn't have a single moment in the film that would claim his character to be a mentor to Zaira Wasim's Insia. Expect for one dialogue in the trailer, where he speaks about kids like Insia are like bubbles in soda. No one can stop them from coming up.
Recalling the dialogue, Aamir said that once an extremely concerned father had brought his son to him on a shooting set, so that the actor could speak to him about studying hard to become successful in life as the kid would only listen to him. Aamir said,
At that time, director of Secret Superstar Advait Chandan used to be the manager of Aamir Khan and he picked up that line from Aamir. According to Advait, this one line (kids are like bubbles, they'll come up on their own) evoked a thought process in him to write a whole script and that's how the journey of Secret Superstar began.
Aamir told the interviewer that he had no idea that this dialogue originally belongs to him untill a few days back Advait reminded him of that incident, and on the basis of that, a full film was made. (Ek line pe humne puri picture bana di," Aamir quipped).
